Michigan is home to cutting-edge medical facilities, innovative technology companies, as well as defense contractors that equip our military. Manufacturing remains the foundation of our economy. It now includes advanced batteries, solar panels, and wind turbines, in addition to vehicle production, where we will lead the way in the movement toward alternative fuel and driverless cars. Entrepreneurship is alive and well across the state, and we can’t wait to see who the next Henry Ford, W.K. Kellogg, or Barry Gordy will be.
