(Livonia, Mich, July 8, 2016) – The Buy Michigan Now Festival is on its way back to Downtown Northville, August 5-7.  The event promotes Michigan-based businesses, which means vendor and sponsorship opportunities are now open.

“When we held our first Buy Michigan Now Festival back in 2009 there were only about 40 companies. Now there are well over 150 different businesses selling products to thousands of visitors,” said Lisa Diggs, founder of the Buy Michigan Now campaign.  “We love creating opportunities for residents to buy directly from Michigan companies. Not surprisingly, in many cases they can meet the entrepreneurs behind the products. That leads to a brighter economic future for all of us, which is what our campaign is all about.”

Festival Hours

The fest is on Main and Center streets in Downtown Northville. It is a weekend filled with family-friendly activities that reinforce the campaign’s mission, because it’s Buy Michigan Week.

  • 1o a.m.-8 p.m. on Saturday, August 6

Family fun continues in the Kids Zone where youngsters can play games, do arts and crafts, get their faces painted, and even put together their own toy vehicle by entering an Airstream and completing the steps in an assembly line.
