Michigan ratifies 19th Amendment giving women the vote
June 10, 2022 @ 12:00 am

Gardner, a wealthy Detroit widow, had became the first woman to vote in a Detroit election back in April of 1871, but shockingly it would be nearly half a century before another woman would be allowed to vote.
