GM announces 1200 new jobs in Lansing
General Motors announcing they sent out a press release saying that more than 1200 jobs will be added to its Lansing manufacturing operations. The announcement will create 900 new jobs at the Lansing Delta Township Assembly plant to meet production demand and 370 new jobs at the Lansing Grand River Assembly plant. The personnel increase it
NMU gets $400,000 grant for business incubator
Northern Michigan University’s business incubator will receive another $400,000 in state funding to support students and regional entrepreneurs as they develop and launch their ideas. Since its inception in 2014, Invent@NMU has provided services to 25 tech companies and helped establish seven new ones through professionally mentored student teams.
